Setup is quick and easy with MPTS. Simply select the COM port to be shared by the "thin-clients" – the virtual COM port. Assign the physical ports on the multiport board to the shared "virtual" COM port, and configure the communication applications to use the "virtual" COM port. If support of 32 bit TAPI applications is required, just setup a generic modem (all pooled ports need to be connected to the same type of modem) using MPTS additional Control Panel applet.
